Many of these lessons were requested by specific parents and for specific students. Not complete ASL, these sometimes omit grammar markers and change the order of signs in order to teach the specific sign to a parent for a specific concept. They are in no way meant to, or capable of, learning ASL from a member of the Deaf community, and are only intended to teach basic communication information to parents and caregivers who are learning to sign with their Deaf children.
